Slimline Floral Birthday Card

Slimline cards have become so popular lately and I have to admit it is kind of fun to work with something new and a little different. The downside is I have had to buy a lot of new die cuts to keep up with the trend!

I started this card by coloring the floral image with Copic markers, which is from Simon Says Stamp. The background dies are from Pink Fresh Studio, the bottom one sponged with a little ink around the edges to match the base. I added some ink and glittler splatters to the second layer before putting on the flowers.

I would like to join in the following challenges:

The Flower Challenge #46 – Summer/Winter

Inkspirational #217 – Designer’s Choice – coloring or painting

Seize the Birthday #195 – Non-neutral card base

Watercooler Wednesday #281 – All About Occasions
