Thankful and Blessed

Enjoying this Thanksgiving morning making a couple of last minute cards. Luckily all the food for dinner was pretty much taken care of yesterday so now I have some time to play around in my craft room!

I started my card with the challenge at CASology -week 379 with a prompt of “Wheat.” Since I really like the clean and simple style I found the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches #398 would work good with my wheat stamps.

My card was pretty simple, I stamped the images in Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink, then heat embossed it with clear/glitter powder. Instead of die cuts I decided to tear the edges around the images and the sentiment. Unlike most of my cards I didn’t even do any coloring, so overall this was a pretty quick card!
