Happy New Year

Here we are at the final challenges of the year for Always Fun (#195) – runs until 1/3/21 -with a theme of “New Year” and Cardz 4 Guys (#261), with a challenge to use a black/silver OR a black/gold color combination – runs 12/29/20-1/10/21. I thought these two challenges worked perfect together for the card I had in mind.

There wasn’t really anything too difficult about this card, but I did use the background die to create a different look. Instead of popping out all the little squares I left most of them in, giving some extra texture and allowing just a small amount of white to show through.

Here’s hoping you enjoy the holiday season and have a happy new year!

  1. I send out Happy New Year cards to those I have forgotten on my Christmas list. Love this one – how you punched just a few of the squares out and left the others. Thanks for joining us over at The House that Stamps Built.

  2. Great card for a male, love the black and gold and all the squares. Thank you for joining our ‘Sparkle and Shine’ challenge at Allsorts.

  4. OOOhhhh!! I love that background die!! The way you popped out some and left some is perfection….almost looks like a city scape! A perfect example of our current challenge!!
