Happy Monday Morning! There are two challenges starting today, which I decided to work on together since the themes went together perfectly! First is the challenge at Always Fun Challenges (#199) – the theme this week is “a card for a friend.” This is a weekly challenge so if you would like to join in the link up will be open until Sunday, 2/7.
The second challenge starting today is at Double Trouble Challenge (#76) There are several options to play along with, a summary of the challenge is shown on the photo below. Click on the photo to visit the blog to see all the details there.
Thing 1’s challenge (and only requirement to enter) is to follow the “3 + 2 + 1 recipe.” This means using at least three embellishments, at least two patterned papers, and at least one stamp.
Thing 3 gives an optional twist to include a heart(s) or an expression of love on your creation.
Finally, Thing 2 is inviting you to link up your creation at our partner challenge, Heart 2 Heart Challenges. (They are waiving their normal requirement of using Close To My Heart products.)

As You Like It Challenge – True Love (Valentine’s) or Fabulous Friends (and Why?) I thought this theme fit both for me, the true love because I really do LOVE chocolate! I also make cards that I send regularly to a few special friends (who also know I love chocolate). The two together is why this card really fits something I would send a friend.
