Thanks for visiting! Today I have a card made for challenge #4 at Make the Cards Challenge. The theme this week is to play with a die shape – “Circles.” You can use any kind of die you want as long as it cuts a circle in some way. Our challenges run for one week, so the deadline to enter is Saturday, 2/20. You are invited to join our gallery with your creation!
As I was looking through my dies I realized I had several that were more interesting than just a standard circle shaped die. I settled on this die cut of intersected circles, which I have used a lot in the past to go with water themes. However, I went a little different way this time and used it as a backdrop for the heart and sentiment. I didn’t even realize that I picked the same colors as on the Make the Cards Challenge banner!

Oh Melanie this is awesome! What a great idea to use that die as the background vs the focus … worked great and looks fabulous! Come to think of it I have similar dies and could have done something like this … will have to keep that in mind for future cards … love the over all design and colors (LOL how about that they are the same as our logo). Your card is so beautiful. With the month of live the use of the heart die and all the other circular shaped dies. The border die for the base is beautiful as well.
