Hello and thank you for stopping by! Today I have a diagonal easel card that I made for the new challenge at the Alphabet Challenge. Our challenge is based on the letter “X” – which is for “Extra Fold.” You can use any theme or any products you want, just be sure to add an extra fold into your card design.
My card is made on a base that is 11″ x 4.25″ and scored at 5.5″. Then I used my scoring board to make another score line going on the diagonal of the front panel. I used vellum to heat emboss the butterfly images, cut some patterned paper for the front, and a circle to hold the butterflies. The sentiment is on the inside, which I heat embossed on a matching blue circle. This is adhered with foam squares so that it is high enough to hold up the front panel when it is folded.
