Christmas for Krafty Chicks

Hello, glad you are visiting! It’s my second week at Krafty Chicks Challenge as the April guest designer, and this week challenge #554 has a theme of Christmas – anything goes as long as it has something related to Christmas.

I started out by using my Zig water color markers to color the image. I let it dry and then cut around the frame. The background was one I had in my stash, I made it a while ago with alcohol inks and some gold gilding flakes. Even though it wasn’t really typical Christmas colors I thought it worked well with the colors on the ornaments. After all was die cut and assembled I finished it off with Nuvo drops around the frame to give it some dimension and a few rhinestones to add a little sparkle!

Check out the design team’s inspiration and get the details at the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog if you would like to play along too!
