“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!” is the theme for the May challenge over at Stinkin’ Inkers. You can interpret that any way you want, I decided to go with something that would work for Mother’s Day. If you would like to play along visit the blog for all the details!

My card uses a slimline background die, which I cut, but then inlaid about half of the square pieces back into. I wanted some color to show through, but it was too much when all of them were missing. The hearts were from a stamp that I stamped and then heat embossed with clear powder. I fussy cut those. I added my Mother’s Day sentiment and a few matching dots to tie it all together.
