Send a Smile 4 Kids Teen Card

Happy Saturday! I am very honored to share a card today that I made as a guest designer for the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge. Not only is this a great challenge to play along in, but there is also a continuous card drive going on, with many volunteers that coordinate collecting and mailing cards for children that are hospitalized. Please check out the blog for all the details about this great program!

The theme of all the challenges at Send a Smile 4 Kids is to create a card for a child, however there is also an optional twist you may play along with too. This month the optional twist is to create a card that would be appropriate for a teenager. Just like masculine cards, I find it more challenging to make cards for teenagers. I found this image from Bugaboo Stamps, and thought it would be perfect for a teenage guy! I used a sentiment so I could stamp the inside with a “Happy Birthday” sentiment.

Hope you have time to join in the challenge. Have a great day!

Additional Challenges:

Catch the Bug – anything goes challenge

Creatalicious Challenge #212 – anything goes w/opt. “for a boy”

Creative Knockouts #404 – recipe: use a digi image, sentiment, patterned paper, and embellishments

The House That Stamps Built #J221 – All about the boys

Watercooler Wednesday #317 – All things masculine

  1. Hi Melanie!

I think the only person who is going to love this card more than me is the teenage boy who is going to receive it. It is fabulous, and the colors are perfect for summer!
