A Little Bit of Sunshine

On to my second card for today. I always am drawn to cards that feature sunshine or sun rays, I think that started when we moved to sunny Arizona away from the cold and snow of the midwest. It’s 113 degrees outside right now so I am definitely feeling the sun today!

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: Sentiment is from a set by Uniko, called “Spring Botanical Dafodil.” I heat embossed it so when I stenciled the sun rays it would not smear. I die cut with a square, and used some temporary adhesive to hold it on the card base. Next I stenciled the sun rays with a Tim Holtz stencil. I removed the square and attached it to a larger scallop edged square. I adhered that on the base, and finished it by adding some clear, sparkly glitter around the edges.
