Patriotic Card for Always Fun

Thank you for stopping by today. My card is for the new challenge starting at Always Fun (#220). This week we have a theme of “Patriotic.” This is one of my favorite themes, and the red/white/blue color scheme is also one of my favorites. I hope my card inspires you to make something patriotic to share in our gallery, the link up will be open until Sunday, July 4!

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: The United States stamp and die from Taylored Expressions. I used my Misti and masking tape to apply only one ink at a time. The background paper is from Divinity Designs, and the little letters are from an old (very old!) Stampin’ Up! set. I used a circle punch to make them a bit smaller than they really are. Some small iridescent stars finished it off.

Additional Challenges:

Cut It Up! #228 – Fourth of July/Red-White-Blue

NBUS Challenge #27 – something never used before- stamp/die set

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – red/white/blue

DL Art #280 – Red/White/Blue

Sisterhood of Crafters – anything goes
