Shades of Blue

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guys (#276). This time the theme is “shades of blue.” You may join in with anything you create that fits the theme, please visit the blog for all the details and to link up your card or project!

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: I used a stencil for the background. The waves were made with a piece of scrap from an alcohol ink background I had made that I found in my “bits and pieces” basket. I stamped and colored the sailboats from a set made by Dare 2 B Artsy, which was also where the sentiment came from. The final details were some birds and a little piece of twine for the anchor.

Additional Challenges:

Fab ‘n’ Funky #533– monochrome

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #607 – summer

My Time to Craft #462 – no patterned paper
