Make the Cards Color Challenge

Hello! I am sharing a card I made for the new challenge starting at Make the Cards (#27). This week we have a color challenge. You are welcome to use any techniques, products, or theme you want, as long as you use all of the colors shown, and any neutrals are fine too! The challenge will be open through Monday, August 9.

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: This is made from one background stamp (no idea who it was made by). I stamped it and then used silver pearl embossing powder. I then “smooshed” the panel in Distress Oxide inks of the challenge colors. One thing about the oxide inks is that you can actually layer colors on top of each other, so I did that to get a distinct variation and not just one big “mix” of color. When all dry, I used the fancy edged die cut, with a couple extras cut on plain card stock to glue in layers behind it. I did this to give some extra dimension and to make it more straight and sturdy. I found a small birthday sentiment and a few rhinestones to better show the center of the flowers.
