CAS for Krafty Chicks

Hello! I am so excited to be joining the design team for the Krafty Chicks Challenge, and today I am sharing my first card! Krafty Chicks Challenge runs weekly, with a rotation of themes, challenges start on Thursday and end on the following Wednesday.

Today is the start of this week’s CAS (Clean and Simple) challenge. There are no other requirements other than your card follows a clean and simple style. Although there aren’t any set rules, some general ideas for clean and simple cards are that they have lots of open space, little or no embellishments, one main focal point, and are uncluttered with minimal layers.

The QUICK and SIMPLE details for my card: I used a new stamp set from Close to My Heart, called “Floral Borders and Sentiments.” I stamped the images in my Misti, colored with Copic markers, and then die cut the panel to fit on the card base.

I invite you to visit the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog to see the other team members designs and to join in the fun!

  1. So happy you have joined us and what a great card, so pretty I like CAS but don’t make a lot of them, yours is so pretty, my favorite is flowers. I look forward to creating and getting to know you. Hugs, L 🙂

  2. I’m so excited that you are a Krafty Chick! Welcome aboard! Can’t wait to play in the Hen House with you. Now onto your card: absolutely stunning. I’m a floral gal myself so you had me there and I admire your colouring skills.
