Welcome! Today is the start of a brand new challenge – The Four Seasons Challenge – and I am so happy to be contributing as a member of the design team.
As the name says, this challenge will be highlighting each of the four seasons. Inspiration photos will be shown to give you ideas, however as long as your creation fits the season you are invited to join in with whatever you are inspired to make.
My first card is a clean and simple design. I used the flower die to make an impression on white cardstock. Using the lines from the impression I colored the individual areas with Copic markers. I then cut out the die with a matte gold card stock and adhered it over the colored areas. This gives the impression of careful coloring, but not really, the gold hides all the messy outlines! I embossed the background with a folder from Taylored Expressions, and used a sentiment from a company called The Project Bin.
This new challenge will run until September 25, and winners will be announced on the 28th, with the new challenge starting on October 1. Please visit the blog for all the details and to check out the inspiration from the rest of the team!
