After a nice Easter weekend I had a little extra time to work on some cards this morning. Since there are a lot of challenges focusing on spring and flowers and April showers I decided to play along with those!
This first card was inspired by the challenge at the Paper Players (#587) which is to create a CAS card with a theme of “April showers.” The new challenge over at Inspiration Station (#28) has a photo, which also made me think of April showers. The Crafty Catz challenge (#591) this week is anything goes, but with an optional twist of April showers. Finally I will be joining in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, which has a theme of “whatever the weather.”
For this one I started with the challenge at over at Little Red Wagon (#649) which is looking for 3 of something. I chose the colors from the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare (#492) which is a tic-tac-toe board. (I went with lagoon, sundance, and lemonade, and added mint as well.) Finally I would like to enter this card at Word Art Wednesday (#539/540) which is an anything goes challenge.
