Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! We are on to challenge #609 which is our “all occasions” challenge, so pretty much anything you would send a card for qualifies.
I have been messing around with embossing paste and after making a bunch of backgrounds decided to use one for today’s card. For this one I only partially covered the background. I wanted to use a contrasting color so chose the blue for my flowers (from Technique Tuesday). This card is a little more “frilly” than I normally make, but I chose the die so a little more of the blue color would show through. I also may have got carried away with the embellishments – I added some splatters, twine, enamel dots, and some Nuvo drops for the flower centers.

That’s a stunner! I love the color combination and the embellishments are just added touches. The beautiful blue flowers are the standout here; everything else just adds to the beauty of this card.
