Blue and Yellow Floral

Coloring flowers is such a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend a Friday morning! If only I had time to spend coloring more of my 100’s of flower stamps!

I chose the colors for my flowers by the challenges at the Flower Challenge #69 and the choice given by the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare #502. I was also inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #167 – I used the top row with coloring, bright colors, and scallops (the die cut).

The image is from Woodware Craft Collection, a part of a company from the UK called Creative Expressions. I colored it with Copic markers, then die cut the image with a scalloped rectangle die. I mounted it on some striped paper to incorporate the blue. I thought it looked a little flat so I stamped and colored an additional flower to cut out and layer on the biggest flower. Some Stickles was added to the middles.

Also joining in the challenge at Just Add Ink #609 with a theme of flowers and Make My Monday #177 that is looking for cards with coloring.

  3. Isn’t that just the way, if you love flower stamps? Never enough time to color all you’d like from your “collection”! I do love the ones you chose for this challenge and the striped background and popped center of big flower add so much great detail. Thank you so much for sharing at both The Flower Challenge and the Tic Tac Toe Challenge!
