It’s the start of the August challenge at the Sparkles Christmas Challenge blog, and for August our theme is to create a card where the sentiment is the main focus. This challenge runs for a full month, so you have until August 31st to get your card linked to our gallery.

The stamp I used is from Hampton Arts, and has a date on it of 2012, so not sure it would still be available. I heat embossed the stamp in white, then ink blended the background with some distress oxide inks. Finally I used a stencil to apply some more ink on top of it. The panel as cut with a wonky-stitched die and then mounted on a white card base.
