Double Trouble Challenge #126

Time to start a new challenge at Double Trouble today! There are several parts to this challenge, but remember the only thing required to enter is whatever Thing 1 is asking. The other parts are optional, but playing along will earn you additional entries into the random drawing.

This time Thing 1 is featuring “Scrapper’s Gorp”, or in other words, MIX IT UP! Use a mix of papers, patterns, colors, really any combination of different things you want together. Thing 3 is asking you to try the paper piecing technique. You can see a very short video of that here. Finally, Thing 2 is asking you to consider entering the challenge at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday (#584). This challenge requires using the paper piecing technique OR the sketch, and both if you want!

Since the video I referenced above to show an example of paper piecing was from My Favorite Things I decided to use one of their images for my card. I mixed it up with several coordinating papers and followed the sketch challenge from Try it on Tuesday.

Joining in these additional challenges:

The Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge – anything goes or Christmas

Use Your Stuff #471 – winter/snow

Crafty Catz #615 – anything goes

Pinspirational #265 – color theme
