Alphabet Challenge – U for “Under the Weather”

Today’s card was made for the new challenge starting at the Alphabet Challenge, where we are on the letter “U.” The theme to go with that is “under the weather” or to make a get well card. There are two weeks to enter your card in the gallery if you’d like to play along!

I started by pulling out an alcohol ink background I had made quite a while ago. The umbrella dies were a new set I had put away before ever using, but finally thought it would be good to try them out for this theme. I decided on all white for the umbrellas, as that seemed to make them show up best, and didn’t take anything away from the background. I added my sentiment and a few rhinestones to complete the card.
