Alphabet Challenge – B for Black/White

We have a fun new challenge starting today at the Alphabet Challenge. We are on the letter B, and the chosen theme is “Black and White.” We are looking for cards or projects that use only black and white.

I received this giant “happy” stamp as a free gift from Taylored Expressions. It comes with various smaller words to go with it, I chose “birthday” since that is what I use the most of. To add some interest I used a fancy edged die cut and added a few glittery, white hearts.

  1. You’ve created a wonderful black & white card, I love the bold sentiment you used. I like how many different styles and occasions are represented in the DT work this time. The tiny geometrical border is a perfect way to frame your birthday message without taking attention away from the main motif. Also, I think the 3D elements you added really make your card pop.

  2. What a big, bold greeting for someone having a birthday! I just love all those little hearts along with that pretty background die. It’s a perfect combination of black and white and a great way to celebrate someone’s special day!
