Today’s card was made for the new challenge starting at Double Trouble, where we are getting ready for summer! Thing 1 is looking for your summer themed cards or projects and Thing 3 has the optional twist to include flip flops.
Thing 2’s Double Dare is to enter your card at Color My Heart Color Dare, where you must include at least three of the colors in their inspiration photo shown below.

I was excited when I saw this theme because I wanted to use this set of flip flop dies I purchased a couple years ago from Honey Bee Stamps (the shell stamps are also from Honey Bee Stamps). I also love the colors on the inspiration photo, and finally, I just got this set of arch shaped dies from Spellbinders and couldn’t wait to use them too!
The background was made with a stencil from Newton’s Nook, cut with one of the arch dies, matted with another arch die, and finally added to the card base. I finished it up with some Stickles and a beachy sentiment.
