Double Trouble #144

It’s time to start challenge #144 at Double Trouble today!

This time Thing 1 is challenging you to include some type of wood on your card – wood grain paper, stamps, embossing, wood on a barn or building, wooden frame, etc. If you do that you qualify to enter the challenge.

Thing 3 has the optional challenge of including a pig.

The double dare by Thing 2 is to enter your card at FarmQuest Challenge if you’ve met both challenges by Thing 1 and Thing 3.

My woodgrain background was made by scoring a piece white cardstock, and then swiping it with an inkpad. So easy! I used a digital image from Gerda Steiner designs, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. A sentiment was added along with some confetti pieces to finish it off.

Joining in these additional challenges:

FarmQuest Challenge #33 – wood + pig

Gerda Steiner Designs July Challenge – anything goes w/GSD image

I Spy With my Little Eye #4 – Sweet Treats

Friendship Challenge #89 – animals

  3. Love the embossed polka dot border and your scoring creation of your woodgrain too… love the texture. I never think of that and I even have some dies of wood grain and dont’ think to use those either. Adorable digital and love that big cupcake and scatter of the confetti candy. Adorable card.
