Joining in several challenges today with this card I made playing with some mixed media techniques. I love the look of mixed media, but my normal style leans more towards neat and precise. However, I am having fun experimenting with some of the forgotten supplies I bought a long time ago just in case I might need them!
The quick and simple steps I followed to make my card:
-water color wash in light pink, stamped with a script stamp, stenciled with white embossing paste over parts of a stencil, lightly spread some foundry wax over parts (don’t even know where I got that!)
– used white powder to heat emboss the flowers and leaves (from a set called “Perfectly Perfect” by Altenew), die cut them, then blended with pink and distressed with brown ink
– added a twine bow around base, adhered the flowers and leaves, and finished it off with some sentiments I stamped and distressed
