Double Trouble #147

We’re starting off the month with a new challenge at Double Trouble (#147). Joining the challenge only requires you meet the challenge of Thing 1. This time that challenge is to use at least three of the colors in the photo below (yellow, purple, orange, red, green).

The other parts of the challenge are optional, but will earn you additional entries in the random drawing. Thing 3 is asking you to include a pumpkin or gourd on your card, and if you did that then Thing 3 is asking you to link your card with our partner challenge, Inspiration Station. Their inspirational photo is shown below.

Inspiration Station asks you to explain how the photo inspired you. Besides the colors, I also just focused on the gourds, and went with using those and not any pumpkins.

The gourd images I used are from Gerda Steiner Designs, one of my favorite companies for whimsical and cute images. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out, then used a wreath background to mount them on.

Joining in these additional challenges:

Gerda Steiner Designs September Challenge – anything goes using GSD

Send A Smile 4 Kids – anything goes for kids for fall/Halloween

Die Cut Divas – anything goes

Four Seasons – anything goes for autumn

  1. I love your colorful gourds. They’re beautifully designed on this lovely card. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Four Seasons Challenge. We hope to have you join us again soon.

  2. oh my, the gourds are adorable and love the colors in the soft plaid in the background. I have a wreath die similar to this and it looks so good as a frame for your gourds. Adorable and fun card.

  3. Just too cute! I am still chuckling. Love it. So glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas for our “Anything Goes” challenge.

  4. This is such a cute and happy Autumn card! Those cute gourd images remind me of the days my kids used to watch Veggie Tales 🙂
