Alphabet Challenge – L for Literature

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Today I am sharing a card I made that was inspired by the new challenge at the Alphabet Challenge. We are featuring the letter “L” this time, with a theme of “literature.” You can use that any way you want to come up with a card or project.

I recently got a new stamp set from Lawn Fawn called “Apple-solutely Awesome.” It made me think of the cover from a favorite book of mine and my daughters, The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein. I also saw the challenge at Time Out #246, which had a quote that also went well with this book:

Joining in these additional challenges:

Little Red Wagon #721 – square or rectangle? I definitely prefer rectangle cards! Occasionally a design will just work better on a square, but that is not very often.

  2. What a wonderful book-inspired card, the image of the little mouse is absolutely adorable. I like how happy it looks among all the apples, and the bright colours you used are perfect to illustrate the scene. I also like how you created the illusion of an opening by colouring the background in shape of an oval and placing the motif on top of it. Thanks for your great DT work.

    Hugs, Veronika
