Krafty Chicks Challenge #681 – Christmas

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! Welcome to Week 2 – our Christmas theme challenge, or any holiday/winter card. You are free to use any products, techniques and style you want, you can even make any kind of paper crafting project, it doesn’t have to be a card!

Today’s card was inspired by a background I previously made and pulled out of my “bits and pieces” drawer. (The “bits and pieces” basket got too small!) I used a stencil and very lightly spritzed over it onto some blue cardstock with purple and blue inks. At first I thought it was too light, but with a large focal point it worked well being kind of subtle.

The ornament dies are a layering set from Birch Press Designs.

Thanks to Denise, who is our guest chick this month. Be sure to stop by her blog, and the other chicks blogs, to get some more ideas and inspiration for this week’s challenge!

  2. Wow! That ornament is just wonderful! Triple layered to add great dimension! And I agree that background is subtle enough to look elegant behind the featured ornament. Perfect pairing!
