Double Trouble #156

It’s our first challenge over at Double Trouble for the new year!

This time Thing 1 is looking for a background you created – either Calm, Soft, Pastel or Loud, Bold, Bright

The optional challenge from Thing 3 is to use the sketch from the newly branded challenge – Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT). Thing 2 says if you do that you are eligible to enter your card in both challenges.

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Background stenciled with white embossing paste, and when dried randomly applied watered down inks
  • Scalloped dies from My Favorite Things
  • Bird die from Spellbinders

  1. Melanie, the color and texture in your background paper and the colors in the birdie are so complementary each other. Love all the detail of the birdie die and branches. Beautiful card and great interpretation of the sketch challenge.
