I started my OCAD challenge 1/30/24, and decided to start posting them to my blog. I don’t want to write a post every day so decided to do a monthly recap of all the cards I’ve completed. (Click HERE or the OCAD page on the menu bar for more details.)
Since quite a few cards are for my commitments to different design teams, I will post the link to that particular post. Occasionally some may show an error until the challenge goes live, but eventually they will all be current, at that time I will add the photos.

Inspiration was from a video by Tiffany Solorio called “5 Creative Ways to Use Sprays.” The video can be found HERE. I didn’t do all of them, but for today’s card I used the embossing an image with white powder, spraying several inks on it. I did add a little shading with my Zig water color markers to accent some of the images on the stamp.

Today I tried another technique from the video above. You can see this card and more details HERE. I made this for an upcoming challenge, so the post/photo will not be visible until 3/23/24.
The technique was using sprays on the inside of an embossing folder, then when dry sanding off a little of the color from the raised areas to add more dimension.
This is AMAZING! Beautiful color combinations and of course you know how much I love anything to do with the beach. 🙂
