Paper Funday Challenge – Embossing

There’s a new challenge starting for the month of May at the Paper Funday Challenge. The theme is always “anything goes,” but there’s always an optional challenge to play along with if you choose. This month the option is “embossing,” heat or dry.

My card was made with a stencil set from Altenew called “Folk Flowers.” I love this set because it creates a whole background, but also includes a die that cuts out just one full flower/stem. You can see that on my card, where it is raised over the spot where it is on the full background. To add more contrast I embossed the whole base panel behind it.

We hope you’ll share whatever you’re creating with us this month, the gallery will be open until June 4.

Joining these additional challenge:

Allsorts #726 – anything goes + option of one for the girls

Creative Knockouts #493 – flower power

Dream Valley #293 – make it female

Try it on Tuesday – use a stencil

Triple B Challenge – Birds, Blooms, and/or Butterflies
