Krafty Chicks Challenge #662 – Stamp Act

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! Starting off a new month with our week 1 “stamp act” challenge, all you need to do is use any stamp or digital image on your card or project.

It’s not often I make wedding cards, but there are a few coming up I will need cards for so I decided to use this adorable set from Colorado Craft Company. I stamped and colored the image and added the sentiment before adhering it to an embossed background panel that was in my “bits and pieces” drawer. I wrapped the ribbon around it before gluing it to a card base.

It’s not very prominent in the photo, but thought I would mention that to liven up the embossing I lightly brushed some white pigment ink (Hero Arts Unicorn). It really adds a lot more dimension to the pattern, especially on a darker color.

We are so happy to have Taty as our guest chick this month, so be sure to stop by her blog, and the other chicks blogs, to get some more ideas and inspiration for this week’s challenge!

  1. Hey, that is so sweet, I like the image, and is very cute, and the embossing in the background works very well. Way to go, friend! Happy Crafting! L:)

  2. Very darling card! Well the first thing I noticed was the embossed panel, I actually thought it was on vellum. So I’d say that at least I noticed the “white wash”. Have an amazing week!

  3. Oh how cute! This is so super sweet – the image, the ribbon, just everything about it. Darling. Thanks so much for sharing your art and your talent with us at Word Art Wednesday Challenge.
