Alphabet Challenge – C for Cat

It’s time to start a new challenge today over at the Alphabet Challenge Blog. We are on the letter C, and the chosen theme this time around is “Cats.” Be sure to check out the challenge site for some really great creations by the rest of the design team!

The background of my card was taken out of my “bits and pieces” drawer, I had made it a few weeks ago when playing with a stencil and some white embossing paste. I then added some watered down ink with a paint brush. I liked how some of the ink soaked in the paste, some didn’t. It also took on various shades on the paper, which gave it a kind of neat look.

The cats are from a set by My Favorite Things, colored with Copic markers, then die cut to fit on the outer die cut circles. I used a sentiment from a Colorado Craft Company set.

Joining in these additional challenges:

Addicted to Stamps and More #445 – use dies and/or stencils

Creatalicious #258 – anything goes

Try it on Tuesday – Use a stencil

Crazy for Cats #7 – anything goes with a cat
