The current challenge at Cupcake Inspirations is a color challenge, as shown above. I find using black and a neutral with the addition of only one color always results in some great designs.
I used an older background stamp from Stampin’ Up, and paired it with the flowers, which are from My Favorite Things. Instead of coloring them I stamped them on pink paper, colored in the stems with black, and then die cut the image. To give a little shading I used a Copic marker in pink to deepen the middle of the flowers.
