Chase Your Dreams

The dragonfly stamp on this card is one of those I had to have, and then when it got here I set it aside, forgot about it, and never used it. Well I saw a challenge that was featuring dragon flies, as well as another that challenged you to use something old, and I thought it would be a good time to put it to use!

My card ended up being for several challenges, but first is my team card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#384). Here’s the sketch:

The colors for my card I were inspired by the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare (#408), which is a tic-tac-toe board. I used the third column: toffee – espresso – glacier (which looks rather white in the photo). Other colors are allowed as long as they are on the board, so I also used sapphire.

The dragonfly is from a set by Technique Tuesday, which I heat embossed on vellum.

Anothert challenge I would like to join is at Cut It Up! (# 207). They are asking for you to use something old – stamps, embellishments, anything you haven’t used in a long time (or at all!). Besides the stamp I found those blue pearls I didn’t even know I had! The die cuts I used are the stitched strips, those are brand new from Pretty Pink Posh.

Also the challenge at The Paper Girls (#206) is “emboss like a boss” .

Additional challenges – both have a theme of “Things With Wings:”

Ellibelle’s Corner , and Crafty Cardmakers (#262)
