CAS Challenges

I spent the afternoon hidden away in my craft room working on some clean and simple cards. I used a lot of different challenges for inspiration, but I also just got some new stamps and dies that I really wanted to use before putting away. I have heard a saying that jokes about being better at buying craft supplies than actually using them, I’m afraid that may be the case with me!

This first card uses a set from Reverse Confetti, I was drawn to it because I just loved the bright oranges. The challenge that inspired this design was the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches (#410). I also would like to play along at Watercooler Wednesday (#311) with a feminine theme, as well as Crafty Calendar Challenge that also has a feminine theme this month.

My second card was a result of the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches (#476). I got my theme from the challenge at CASology #385 – cue word “luck.” Finally, I would also like to join in at Creative Craft Cottage Challenge (#138) since they are looking for cards that are CAS.

Next I have a card that was inspired by the colors at the Color Throwdown Challenge (#633) – gray, light blue, and kraft. I used another set that I just got from Reverse Confetti for this one too, as well as the border die cut. The other challenges I made this card for are at Crafting Happiness Challenges (#87) – theme of flowers, C.R.A.F.T. Challenge (#590) – theme of feminine card, and I chose my sentiment to play along at Creative Knockouts (#392) – birthday theme.

My last card started with the CAS challenges at Happy Little Stampers, with an optional twist of “3 in a row” and CAS on Friday (#200) with a theme of spring. This is another stamp in the same Reverse Confetti set, and tulips are the first flower that comes to mind when I think of spring. I chose my 3 favorite colors together for this card, which is the optional twist at the Crafty Catz Challenge (#542) of anything goes. I’d also like to join in at the Moving Along With the Times Challenge (#128) because that has a theme of spring as well.

Thanks for getting through this whole post and enjoy the rest of your day!
