A new challenge starts at Always Fun Challenges today (#206) and the theme is “Welcome Baby.” I don’t have a lot of baby themed stamps or dies, but I do have an old set from Stampin’ Up with a few really cute images.
I started by masking off a small strip on the lower part of my card, then used a stencil to blend some “orangish” ink with a softer yellow ink. When that was done I die cut the heart and added some stitched lines with another die cut to create a border around the hearts. I stamped the diaper pin on another piece of white, die cut it with the same heart, which I used to inlay in the stenciled piece. I stamped and made the little heart shaped balloon, and added a string to it before attaching it to the card.
