Friends Fur-ever

A new challenge starts today at Double Trouble Challenge (#80) and at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#414). Since this is the 3rd Monday of the month the challenge at Double Trouble is a “SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing” challenge, basically anything goes! The optional twist this time is to hand color something on your card, and our partner site is anyone that we have participated with before. Please visit the challenge blog for a list and all the other details.

I used a brand new stamp set made by Newton’s Nook, which I colored with Copic markers. To follow the sketch I die cut a frame, but since the background looked a little plain I decided to use a paw print die cut to create the image/texture. (I ran it through the machine with an embossing mat to prevent it from cutting.) To finish it off I added some extra details – the fence, the bones, and a little heart!

  4. Such a cute woofer card, Melanie! Darling puppies, and beautifully colored, especially with the dry embossed puppy paws. Wouldn’t it be great if puppy paws were always that clean?
