Anemone in Blue

Hello everyone! My card was made with a brand new flower stamp that I just got from the Technique Tuesday’s Greenhouse Society. This is a monthly stamp club, and the stamp for April is an anemone. I don’t really know what colors they are naturally, but I wanted to use it for a few challenges so I did my own thing!

There’s a new kind of challenge over at Color My Heart Color Dare (#440) called “Crazy 8.” The challenge is to use at least 4 of the blocks from the board, which you can see below. I chose to use Sundance, Glacier, New England Ivy, and the flower image. I also played along with just the sketch from Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#502).

My card really came together rather quickly. I colored the image with Copic markers, and used the die cuts to cut it out. I found a patterned paper that coordinated well with the main colors, and assembled it to represent the sketch. I finished it by adding some glitter glue to the center of the flower.

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Crafty Sentiment Designs – anything goes

Addicted to Stamps and More (#403) – Birthday

Seize the Birthday (#212) – anything goes + optional spring flowers
