Yellow and Grey Hello

Hello! Enjoying a Sunday morning in my craft room, and made this card after being inspired by several challenges. The colors are from the Pantone Color Institute, which predicts (sets) the global color trends for the coming year. This year the colors are yellow and grey. The challenges at the Color Hues Challenge (#16) and at the Modsquad Challenge both are to use only those two colors on your card.

I chose my design by the challenge that just started at AAA Cards (#188) which is to use a one inch strip on your card, and the theme(s) of my card by combining the challenges at CASology (#388) with a cue word of HELLO, and the challenge at Addicted to CAS (#195) with a code word of FLOWER. Normally I wouldn’t think of combining two words for these types of challenges, but after giving it a try I was happy with how they worked together, with each one still holding it’s ground!

And I like that yellow topping-patterned paper I think? And the flowers are placed perfectly. One very thought out CAS card that just looks amazing. Thanks for joining us at casology x
