Vintage Bicycle

Today we are starting a new challenge at the Cardz 4 Guys Challenge (#269) and the theme is “wheels.” Any products or style, any techniques or stamps, and any subject you want will qualify, as long as there is some part of your creation that illustrates “wheels.”

I used a stamp set from Stampin’ Up called “Timeless Talk.” It has kind of an old time look so I tried to give it a little bit of a vintage style. I did a little distressing and added a little bit of texture to the background, then found a quote that I thought would make this suitable for a guy. To finish it off I used a few enamel dots.

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday Challenge – something that starts with a B

TGIF Challenge #312 – Technique – “very vintage”

Pattie’s Creation #181 – Birthdays

  1. What a fun take on our “wheels” challenge over at C4G!! I love that we both paired it with the Vintage challenge from TGIF. Great minds think alike!! 🙂 That bicycle is perfect for both of these challenges!!

  2. What a perfect masculine and with this fabulous image and sentiment. Thank you so much for joining in at my Crafty Wednesday challenge this month where it’s all about “something beginning with B” (or anything goes).
Hope you’ll stop by again soon!
