Plaid for CAS Christmas

Hello! Today I was asked to join the CAS Christmas Challenge as a guest designer so I am very happy to share the card I created for the new challenge. This month the theme is “plaid.”

The QUICK and SIMPLE details for my card: I used a frame die to cut a piece of plaid paper. I cut several more frames with white card stock to use behind it so I could get a little added dimension. I covered the back with some matching solid card stock. The tree was die cut from a Stampin’ Up set, and I used a little clear glitter glue to add some sparkle to the edges. I didn’t even realize until I had heat embossed the sentiment that it kind of appears to look like the trunk and base of the tree!

Please check out the wonderful designs by the design team over at the CAS Christmas Challenge. The link up is open until September 24th if you would like to join in the fun!

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Christmas Crafts All Year Round – something starting with R or Q (Red)

The Holly and the Ivy #100 – anything goes for Christmas

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #610 – Christmas
