Can You Handle the Pressure – Think Spring

Here it is the fourth Saturday of the month already, which means that we are starting our second challenge over at the Can You Handle the Pressure? challenge blog. We would like to thank all those who joined us for our last (and the first!) challenge and hope you’ll play along this time.

Our challenges are always “anything goes” as long as you use some kind of dry embossing on your card or project. We also have an optional twist each time, and for this challenge it is “think spring.” Please visit the blog for all the details!

I used regular paper to emboss on, and you can see that the pressure was more than it could take, so the white broke through. Fortunately this produced a look I really ended up liking! I used an image from My Favorite Things and mounted it on a small rectangle I cut with a die from Spellbinders (“Hemstitch”). I chose the sentiment because it fit perfectly on the rectangle, and added the twine and bow to finish it off.
