Festive Friday #105 – World Party Day!

Happy Festive Friday! What a great festivity we have as our inspiration this time: World Party Day. We came up with 10 items for our Inspo List based on our festivity, but to join the challenge just choose any 3 (or more) of the items to use on your card or project, whether or not you follow the theme of the festivity is totally up to you!

I chose balloons, sparkle, polka dots, and bright colors to use on my card. The background was made by using some embossing paste with a stencil and adding some glitter before it dried. This was a good reminder why I rarely use glitter! How can something so small end up everywhere?!?

The bear is an image from My Favorite things, as well as the “congratulations” die cut around it. I colored it with Copic markers, cut it out and added some die cut balloons.

  1. Melanie, this is a perfect card for World Party Day. I love how you used and colour red the Embossing Paste. Perfect Polka Dots. I love being able to be able to Hop along with you.

  2. Oh my gosh…a sparkle lover’s delight, Melanie! What a fun card! Hats off to you for braving an explosion of glitter. Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Well, I love polka dots – but rainbow-colored, glittery polka dots are IT. Your little bear is just too sweet. What a great party card.
