Hello and welcome! My card today was made for the current sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#404), which was the perfect design for my newest die cut, a larger sized snowflake. This is a weekly challenge, with a new sketch posted every Monday, and the design team’s inspiration posted on Wednesdays. If you would like to play along you can link up your creation until Sunday evening.
I have found myself making a lot of cards in the popular slimline size lately. It’s fun to have a whole new creative avenue to play with (and also gives me lots of new things to shop for!)
The snowflake die is from the latest Simon Says Stamp kit, as well as the shiny silver paper. I used a sentiment from My Favorite Things. While playing around with this sketch it seemed I kept ending up with a “less is more” look, the silver/white/black seemed to look best just left alone!
